SI Media Hub / Inclusive Access

Accessibility

Stories and digital experiences should be accessible to as many people as possible. We welcome feedback that helps us make our website easier to use.

Our commitment

SI Media Hub is committed to improving access to its website, information and digital communications for people with disabilities. We aim to consider accessibility as we develop and update content, page layouts and interactive features.

Accessibility standards

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as a reference for accessible website design, including considerations such as keyboard navigation, readable text, sufficient colour contrast, clear structure and meaningful descriptions for images.

This statement does not represent a certification or claim that every page currently meets a particular WCAG conformance level. Accessibility requirements applicable to SI Media Hub should be assessed in light of its operations and Ontario law, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), where applicable.

What we aim to support

  • Clear page headings, readable content and consistent navigation.
  • Usable layouts on mobile devices, tablets and desktop screens.
  • Keyboard access to links, menus and interactive controls.
  • Alternative text for informative images and descriptive link wording.
  • Visible focus indicators and appropriate text contrast.
  • Accessible alternatives or assistance when content presents a barrier.

Third-party content

Some features or linked content may be provided by third parties, including embedded videos, social platforms or translation services. Their accessibility may vary, and we may not control every aspect of those services.

Experiencing a barrier?

If you have difficulty accessing a page, navigating a feature, viewing a document or understanding content, please email info@simediahub.com.

It helps if you include the page address, a description of the barrier and the format or assistance that would work better for you. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or other sensitive personal information.

Accessible formats and communication

We welcome requests for information in a more accessible format or for a different way to communicate. We will review requests and discuss reasonable options based on the content and circumstances.

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As we update our website, we intend to review issues identified through testing and visitor feedback, prioritize barriers and improve the experience where practical.
